My first memory of any car was my dad's 68 base model cutlass post coupe 6cyl 3 on the tree. I've had 5 other cutlasses over the years and wanted to get the 68. On a Friday, I found a guy selling his 68 convertible who was moving on Sunday and my wife and I hitched up a trailer left early the morning and we drove from Loveland, CO to Seattle to pick up this car in 2017. I had the floors & trunk floor replaced as they were toast. I swapped the 350 Rocket and 2 spd Jetaway for the LS & 4L80. I've upgraded the front suspension to big brakes, tubular control arms, coil overs. I've had the driver's side quarter panel off for 2 years now and trying to replace it on my own. Need to get it back on the road. I love the way it drives. It could really use the firewall smoothing kit.
