This installation kit is for our No-Weld Smooth Firewall Panel Kits. It includes the essential components to properly bond your firewall panels, making installation easier and more secure. Note that this kit does not include primer, bodywork, or paint—those steps must still be completed separately. The SEM EZ Coat included is intended for the backside of the panels where it won’t be visible.
Kit Components:
3M Panel Bond Adhesive
Epoxy Gun
SEM EZ Coat (for backside of panels only)
Installation Instructions:
Prepare the Firewall: Cut away unnecessary portions of the OEM firewall and smooth the surface with a grinder.
Prime Backside: Apply SEM EZ Coat to the backside of the new panels.
Mark and Drill: Use the paper templates from your panel kit with magnets to mark and drill holes.
Apply Adhesive: Spread 3M Panel Bond on the backside of the panels.
Align Panels: Position panels over the firewall, ensuring all studs pass through correctly.
Secure Panels: Fasten panels with the supplied nuts from inside the car.
Final Finish: Complete installation with primer, bodywork, and paint (not included) for a seamless, finished look.
