Smooth your firewall the clean and simple way—no welding required. The No-Weld Smooth Firewall Basic Panel Kit is designed for builders who want a straight, weld-free solution to clean up the engine bay on their 1968–1972 Chevelle or Malibu. The precision-fit panels bolt on and bond in place for a smooth, custom look without the risk of warping or distortion caused by welding.

Made from thick 14-gauge steel, each panel is built for strength, durability, and a precise fit. This kit provides the core components needed to transform your factory firewall. An optional install kit is available that includes panel bond, SEM Ez Coat, and an epoxy gun.

Panel Installation Steps:

• Cut away unnecessary portions of the OEM firewall.

• Smooth the OEM firewall with a grinder.

• Prime both the existing firewall and the backside of the new panels using SEM EZ Coat.

• Position the provided templates over the original firewall using the included magnets, and drill holes as marked.

• Apply 3M Panel Bond to the new panels and align them, ensuring all studs pass through correctly.

• Secure the panels with the supplied nuts from inside the car.

• Finish with bodywork and paint for a seamless, custom appearance.
